It's really obvious ADC is my worst role, because while I sometimes need to think about what I need to learn in other roles, it's always crystal clear when playing ADC. This was a great game. Me and Thresh had a very smooth laning phase with few obstacles. Dodging enemy Caitlyn and Zyra's skillshots weren't too hard, and I don't really think Caitlyn utilised her superior range. The short range is always a scary part when playing Corki, and while it didn't show in lane, it was a pretty big problem in team fights. I think I learned some pretty major things about positioning since last game, since I was in much better spots this time. But some damage will always slip through, and I got taken down to low HP pretty often. When that happened, I had to flee from the heat of the battle (I used my jump ability as a re-positioning tool this time, rather than as an initiator, which worked much better), but then I wasn't able to participate as much as I wanted to, even though I was fed. This game actually came close to being lost one or two times thanks to that. So even though I played much better than last game, I still need to work on my positioning and how I can be as useful as I can to my team.

A fun game with lots of turns and twists. Not much to say, other than that I really need to work on my positioning as ADC, and especialy as Corki. He's really fun to play, but his short range makes him hard to position right in a team fight. The match went back and forth a bit, but in the end we lost a crucial team fight and the enemy team was able to finish with two surviving players.

We got dominated in bot lane... not really sure what happened. Enemy Miss Fortune had better range and damage than Tristana and once enemy MF and Sona hit level 6 it got way too dangerous. The teamfights didn't go much better, but we did actually see the hope in this one. We had one teamfight which we one and the very last one was close. The enemy team finished the game with three people on very low health, so as it usually is it was a focus problem.

Not much to say. Enemy team had way better map control and ganked bot lane alot. We had a hard time coordinating ganks with our jungler and the pressure we'd been put through in bot lane built up in the end. The enemy team also combo'd their ultis very well, so I have to applaude them on that part.

Bot lane was pretty rough in the beginning, as enemy Caitlyn was stronger than Twitch right off the bat. The enemy bot laners were also very good at baiting me into ganks, which I give them kudos for. The other lanes had more or less of a cakewalk though, and it looked like this was going to be a curbstomp from our team. It wasn't quite that, we derped a few team fights and had some bad focus, but in the end we managed to catch them off guard in a nice engagement.

A nice game to start off Silver III. It looked a bit dark in the beginning, enemy Trundle had way better early game than our Renekton, Nidalee had a pretty rough time against enemy Ahri and I made some pretty bad calls in bot lane. I used my combo on enemy Taric more than once, thinking that "he's closest and the easiest target right now", when of course that was the wrong move, I should've gone for enemy Varus. Overall, the other team had a better laning phase than us. We did manage to turn it around though, but I'm not sure exactly how. We just managed to get better teamfights. The other team was still a threat, and occasionally they turned a fight on us really well, but mostly we did fine. This game was great for two reasons: One; it showed me why I should always focus the enemy ADC, as we were punished for me not doing so. Two; I realised I have been getting better at something I've struggled with a really long time as support: To use my active items! As embarrissing as it, since they are so crucial for support, I often forget I have them. This match though, I remembered them in about eight or nine out of ten fights, which is a huge improvement for me. This gives me hope that my practice in this game is bearing fruit.

Promotion: Silver III

As with any good series final, it came down to the last chance. Since I won two out of three promotional matches, I'm now in Silver III. I have to say, writing a log like this actually have helped me to reflect over my playstyle more than when I don't write about my games. Well, there's still much to learn and many divions to climb. Onward to Silver II!

Another game to remind me that I need to remember bot lane more when I'm jungling. Our bot lane had a hard time since enemy jungler Lee Sin was down there a whole lot. He was also in top lane a few times, causing our Kennen to have a hard time aswell. We won though, largely thanks to our mid laner Nidalee who hit a lot of spears, and those are dangerous when Nidalee builds AP. Our Kennen got more dangerous as time went on as well, and our bot lane started doing better in the end too. If there's one primary lesson to be learned from these last two games, it's to be aware of bot lane when jungling.

This one started out well with a first blood for me on an invade. I then managed some good early ganks. After that though, they game gradually got back into the enemy team's control. Bot was warded really well and I communicated badly with my team, often ending in my getting killed when trying to gank the lane. Something I need to practice on when jungling is ganking bot lane, it's definitely the hardest lane to gank. As the laning phase ended, the other team was way stronger than us.

I'm wondering whether I actually did the right thing in choosing Jax here... See, I knew I was going up against Jayce, and my standard choice for top is usually Cho'Gath (or Malphite, but he was banned). However, I worried Cho may be too squishy and slow to lane against Jayce, so I asked my teammates. They thought I should go Jax and so I did. But now I'm wondering if it actually made any difference, because Jayce still won top lane pretty handily. I'm going to have to look into that more, I think. Anyway, besides my lane, the laning phase was more or less of a curbstomp. Once the teamfights started, things got a little bit more dangerous, but we still had a huge upper hand. I had to decide alot between staying with the team or pushing back Jayce's split pushing in this game, which was rather hard. Once or twice my team failed without me, so I probably made many wrong decisions here. Either way, more thanks to my teammates than me, that's one promotional match won, one to go!

I don't know if I learned anything or if I was even needed in this game... but you know what, I'll take it. Sometimes it's just nice to play a game as a jungler when all the players on your team win their lanes. At least I could help our mid laner and ADC to grab the blue/red buffs. Not a great game for learning, but sometimes it's just fun to win. With this though, I'm up for my first promotional matches! Let's see how it goes.

Now this was a great game for learning more about jungling. The thing here was that pretty much all our lanes were pushed, but the game was still even overall. So it was hard for me to come from the river and get a good gank. This was a little bit of a dilemma the first half of the game, and my teammates were starting to get a bit annoyed... and then I asked my duo partner over Skype what to do, and he casually said: "Well, you could try coming through the lane..." DERP! I completely forgot that's an option! Not really much else to say about the game other than that, but that's enough of a lesson here. I don't think I'll forget about this in future jungle games.

Enemy jungler Fiddlesticks was the big problem here. He was a real pain for our mid laner Lissandra and the chat was at first pretty much only "that stun so op" and such. It got even worse when he got his ultimate, he was really good at standing behind walls and popping in on a team fight. We had great communication in our team though, and we quickly figured out that if we shut down Fiddlesticks as soon as he entered, we'd pretty much win every teamfight. I tried to ward as much as possible and our Zac and Lissandra both got Oracle's Elixirs to help keep the map control in our hands. We managed to grab an uncontested baron and after that all we pretty much had to do was chip down their inhibitors. After using basically five ultimates on Fiddlesticks, of course...

This one started off even, then drifted into "We can win this but we're not gonna because our engagements are so bad", but then we actually won! The laning phase was, as I said, even. Kills were being traded pretty much everywhere. We got slightly edged out in bot lane, enemy Varus and Sona engaged pretty nicely a few times to which I and Kog'Maw didn't respond accordingly, due to lacking communication or reaction time. We didn't lose too badly though, and the lane wasn't a huge dent in the match overall. Then everyone started roaming, and things got a bit trickier. We were able to get the dragon two or three times, but the actual teamfights did not often go so well. Our focus was pretty bad and I often ran away trying to survive when really I should have just stayed, dish out as much damage as possible and then die for my team. But even though we started to slip and lose, our team was mostly good with the feedback instead of just raging in chat, and it started to feel as we all got more and more on the same page about how we wanted to handle things. We "gave" baron to the enemy team once, but then four of them lost the buff from a fight under our turret, which lifted our spirits. The game ended in a pretty awesome fashion. We all gathered outside the baron pit as the enemy team attempted to kill it. Jarvan jumped in, smote it, and stole it! I tried to jump in on someone, but my ability didn't reach. I was forced to just put my ultimate in the pit and then run all the way around. By this point, the whole thing had become a full 5v5. The announcer started calling out kills and I got really worried. It sounded like we were losing, and I started to not really know what was going on. That's a re-occurring problem that I (among many other things) should work on: I need to get better at just understanding what's going on in these big engagements. Anyway, despite what I thought we won the fight with me and two of my teammates surviving. This led to us being able to finish the game, because a while before the last fight started, I had bought Banner of Command and promoted a siege minion in bot lane. That lane was now pushed all the way to the bot inhibitor, and we were able to go that way and win the game before anyone on the other team respawned. A very fun and intense match, and refreshing to see players actually communicating and trying to make sure everyone plays better instead of raging and flaming.

A really close game with many teamfights going in both teams' favor. My laning phase against Wukong was pretty tough, but I'm happy with how I managed to pull it off. He had more damage than me and forced me back alot, but I still managed to stay above him in farm. The whole game was intense with kills being traded everywhere. Bot lane was especially exciting with much action in it. It was rather hard for me to decide who to focus in the teamfights, enemy Elise or Caitlyn. I guess the usual rule is to focus the ADC, but Elise was really dangerous too but in melee range. It worked out well though, I poked pretty good with Ruptures and managed to use my Feast on good targets. Most of the time, anyway.

The laning phase went badly for pretty much all our lanes, there's not much to comment on there. What's really interesting here is that we actually started to make it look like we were gonna win it after all. We got our focus together, managed a few good teamfights and realised that we actually could be a threat for the other team. Sadly, we couldn't carry ourselves all the way and we fell before the finish line.

It started out really well when our Ashe got first blood when the enemy team's invade failed. Then, we went back to bot lane and dominated enemy Ryze and Thresh... and suddenly we didn't. Ashe did a pretty stupid dive and we lost the edge we had gotten. Then, Ryze dominated us. He just had sick damage after a while. And the enemy team had Teemo... I do not like Teemo. Our Tryndamere got owned by him, tried switching with Zed and our Zed got owned. A tiresome game, but I guess we lost rightfully.

The danger at the start of this game was enemy jungler Evelynn. Right away, she got a double kill on our two bot laners. We managed to elude her pretty well after that, though. My lane went great, enemy Cho'Gath pushed too far and too badly, so that I was safe near my turret but still ahead in farm by just a little. Our jungler Shen was very good and very positive. We did derp a few teamfights and the enemy team got baron once, making it seem like we would lose, but we pulled ourselves together and won.

Again, it's not often you can say a loss is one person's fault, and I REALLY hate to be the guy who blames someone... but I gotta say, our Zed cost us this game by doing exactly what I did in game 34. He got caught out in a stupid, stupid way that everyone saw coming and we lost. It was a REALLY even game too, and I hate that it ended so anticlimactic. I wouldn't have minded if we lost in a teamfight, but the way this went down, it was a 4v5 when it really shouldn't have been. Otherwise, the game was good. We had  a rough start but managed to catch up really good. We traded inhibitors back and forth and I don't think I've ever gotten this many items as a supprt before. A long, intense, and fun game... but the ending makes me sad. But hopefully, he learned his lesson the way I did the time I did that. And it's pointless to focus on other people's mistakes, so I shouldn't.

It's not often you can say a loss is because of one single person in the team. In fact, it's close to never. This is one of those rare times, and the person... was me. It was even, it really was. It could go either way, althouhg we were pushed to our nexus. But we had baron buff. The entire enemy team gathers in a WARDED bush outside, and what do I do? I click on the minimap to go to the bot turret, expecting my character to go inside the base wall... and I go outside, without realising it. This loss was 100% on me, and I have no excuse for it. Another game that shows why you shouldn't be so quick at getting demoralized and calling gg ten minutes in. Things were going pretty badly. We got ganked a lot in bot lane and enemy jungler Lee Sin was getting kills very fast. A few bad positionings from all of us led to the game looking pretty grim. But then we started playing better in bot lane. I made an effort to notice when Lee Sin was in another lane and tried to make those moments count, and our jungler Nunu tried to stay near bot more. Two or three times both the junglers and the mid players came to bot, making our lane the big rumble area. Slowly but surely, we won engagements. It took awhile, but we learned to stay together as a team. After we managed to get a baron buff (though it was rather intense as at least three enemy players gathered around the baron pit, looking for a chance to steal it), we quickly retreated, regrouped and made the final push. I managed to jump right into and use my ulti on at least three members on the enemy team (and they started focusing me, which was the best thing they could have done for us) and that led to the end of the game. The negative thing with this game, besides the beginning, was that I stole five kills. I picked up a double kill when Graves and I had a really close duel with enemy Ezreal and Taric (I just used everything I had to keep my adc alive, I didn't have time to let him get kills) and then I got three more kills during team fights. It's a bit hard to avoid doing that with Leona, seeing as the damage component of her W is delayed, but I think what I can attempt to better myself at is to get a better feel of when I need to use everything to stop an enemy from getting away or scoring a kill and when there just isn't a chance for him/her to do so.

It is so nice to be on the team that turns a game every now and again. This really did look like a lost thing. I got counter picked by Zed, who dominated me in lane and then went on an insane killing spree, I think he was 15/1 at some point. Our team fights didn't go much better either, our focus was rather poor and we kept getting cauht off guard. Then, we did manage to take one sneaky baron, and suddenly it was as if everything had changed. The baron buff, plus Zhonya's Hourglass on me which took a long time to get because I was so far behind, plus some new team morale caused us to suddenly win fight after fight. We were still technically weaker than them, so we couldn't push for long after winning the fights, but we didn't need to hurry with the pushing because we jsut kept winning. We managed to sneak in another baron kill some time later and kept going. There was a really intense moment which was the next to last team fight, which we actually lost. I thought for sure it was over, but we had super minions in their base at that point, so they couldn't finish the match. During our respawining time, enemy Nautilus somehow got executed by our inhibitor turret. As soon as we respawned, we took the chance and rushed for their nexus turrets. We picked them off slowly, only scoring the ace seconds before one of them respawned again, but that was all we needed. Their nexus went down and I just realised how sweaty I was. A nice win that I really think we deserved.

Teemo in mid really dominated enemy Kha'Zix, I never actually had to gank mid lane except for one or two counter ganks when enemy Warwick appeared. I ganked top a few times, which was actually hard, either we only forced a flash or we traded a kill on Nasus for a kill on me. We had a Sona going mid this game, which I thought was interesting. It really worked, as she outplayed her lane opponent Orianna quite nicely. I had a nice and passive laning phase against Nasus where we traded quite evenly and I managed to farm just a bit better than him. Neither of us got ganked by the junglers, though. Maybe they thought our lane was so even that it didn't needed to be ganked, which I question. Nasus lost the lane entirely though when our Sona ganked him and I managed one 1v1 kill with my Feast. Bot lane had some troubles at the beginning, but enemy Tristana couldn't carry her team even though she was better than our Varus in the early game. I really liked our jungler this game, as she did some very nice dive engagements underneath turrets that really payed off.

A really intense and fun to play match. Everything was very even. Kills got traded all around, if one team scored a kill then the other one did a minute after. We did lose bot lane by a little bit, enemy Draven farmed a bit better than Caitlyn and enemy Amumu was a really good jungler, ganking us two or three times from a new location every time. The teamfights were very even too, but we managed to take dragon a few more times, giving us a gold lead (I think) and also one Baron. Eventually, we managed to edge them out. One moment I have to mention that was truly hilarious was when enemy Draven and Viktor were doing baron by themselves. It was late in the game, so they had no problem doing it. I warded right as baron hit about 5% hp, my team was nowhere near me, and I thought to myself: "Screw it." I pressed my Eclipse ability, jumped in on Draven, ran for baron... and my Eclipse popped off and killed it! Then of course I was killed, but the rest of my teammates now had the buff. It was really hilarious and one of the best moments from playing as Leona for me.

I'm not really sure what to say about this game. I did okay, but enemy Kha'Zix got fed and enemy Jarvan was good too. Our team just wasn't as good as theirs. Enemy Kennen "should" have died a few times more though, he often escped with very little hp.

A pretty nice game. Enemy Caitlyn was much better at farming than me, I'll gladly give her that, but at least I managed to not die until teamfights started. Our Zac was completely insane though, and gladly took over the job as carry from me. In the end, I played this one well enough, I think. ADC is still something I need to work on in the future, and from this game especially the farming, but I did okay this time.

The most intense and even game I've had in ranked yet. As you can see, the kills ended up exactly even on both sides. I dominated my lane against Riven, something I think I really shouldn't be able to do, and I was a huge influence in team fights. I enabled so much with my Reptures, it went really well. But then came that one final push from the other team. Our ADC got caught out, we all panicked and three of us got killed. Me and our jungler, who was the two who survived, was powerful but couldn't do anything against their entire team. It came down to me as a carry versus enemy Varus as a carry. Obviously, he'll win. A really good game, but I'm a bit frustrated that we lost it.

Well played by both teams in the laning phase, not so well played by us during team fights. What seemed like a sure thing at first was definitely turned by the enemy team. I feel like my supporting in this game was pretty good though, so I'm happy about my general play. There were two or three times were I really think we could have turned it back, such as a moment were the Pantheon ult and my ult just clicked perfectly. Sadly, at that point, some of us had started to half-heartedly retreat and so it didn't turn out well enough.

I just couldn't get near the minions. Thresh and Vayne were always ready to wreck my sh*t if I ever got close enough for them to do so. Vayne said she was a smurf with a main account in Diamond V, though, so I don't really know. Maybe Ashe was a stupid pick against a Vayne, but as I've mentioned before, ADC is my worst role and Ashe is the one I feel safest as. It didn't work out this time, though, but that happens.

The first time in ranked I actually did a strategic counter pick. Or at least, that's what my teammates told me, hehe. They wanted me to go Malphite against Jax, and it worked out. Until level 6, he was so afraid to go near me that I stayed ahead of him in farm for the rest of the game. Once both of us got our ults, we started trading alot more and were very even. He might have been slightly better than me at that point, actually, but my jungler ganked more than his and our premade bot players rocked their lane. In the end, it all went down for the other team. I have to say, I'm proud of a few of my ults that worked as really nice engagement openings.

This enemy Singed is crazy, man! CRAZY! Okay, wow. I don't know how he got away with this. He was farming in our base. And yeah, he got executed and killed. But that farm really came back to bite us later. He was just so strong. And while our top got well enough farm too, our mid did okay and our jungler scored some kills, bot lane didn't go so well. I'm starting to realize I'm not that good as support. Unlike many people, I like playing the role, but my win/loss rating as support is starting to speak for itself. That's just something I need to improve on, I guess.

A nice game where every lane went well, but no so much that it felt as a steamroll. There were still some hurdles here and there. A moment that was just really funny was me and enemy Jungler just dancing around near mid lane, going back and forth for a good minute or so. It was for my benefit though, as it wasted his red buff (while I had no buffs).

Pretty much a steamroll for the other team, their jungler was especially good. We only managed one good fight in bot lane and started playing somewhat as a team in our base, but at that point it was too late.

A very exciting game with fights that could've turned the whole situation all throughout the entire match. My laning phase against Twisted Fate was okay, not that much to complain on. He managed to edged me out at the beginning, but once my Tormented Soil hit level three I was at least able to keep up and make sure he didn't get any further ahead of me. Really fun team fights and kills happening pretty much everywhere all the time.

Not much to say. We did okay in bot lane, but we got ganked two times and poked too much. I never found a good opportunity to go for a kill. The other lanes lost too, and enemy Mordekaiser got fed.

Haha! My losing streak wasn't as long as my winning streak! Anyway, this game was really fun. Rumble was a very formidable laning enemy, and he managed to stay just a few minions above me the entire laning phase. Our Jungler was better than theirs, though (I got ganked more by their mid player than jungler) and in the end they just couldn't compete with us in the teamfights. It was intense for a while though. Bot lane had a pretty rough laning phase. Enemy team surrendered.

It started even and very intense. Bot lane was passive while kills were being traded all across the other lanes. A few failed engagements on our part in bot unfortunately led to enemy Varus getting slightly ahead, which he then used as a starting patform to going hyper carry. Varus was just very good at his Q too, they were very hard to juke.

Placement: Silver IV

And with the provisional games over, I was placed in Silver IV. I can only guess my first six matches was taken more into account than my last four, haha. Let's see if this is where I actually belong or if I will have to fall down before coming back here.

Just a bad game. Enemy jungler was really good and popped in on pretty much every lane without me being able to keep up. Enemy team was overall just better at ganking, warding and teamfighting.

It started out bad. Enemy jungler was really good and got nice ganks on both mid and bot lane. As the team fights started happening, I saw some hope. We were doing okay, but often got greedy and chased too long. On top of that, our Vayne constantly wanted to farm, often being absent from engagements. Eventually, the enemy team got a few too many good team fights together and managed to take us out.

Kudos to the enemy team, they really turned this one around. I managed to lane really well against Kha'Zix. He had better poke than me, but I had better farm and that coupled with my passive helped me stay in lane. My team even had a 4v5, without me, which they won by far. Then, the 5v5s started, and they just outplayed us. Enemy Kayle was really good with her ult and Kha'Zix and Caitlyn was too dangerous. It makes me a little frustrated since we owned them at first, but in the end they were just better than us.

I hate when ADCs say "Let's play super aggresive". Those are the games I lose as support. Even with Leona, I don't like playing aggresively. When you are not on skype with your lane partner, it's really hard to communicate about engagements. And when your partner wants to engage alot, that's many opportunities for failed communication. I failed alot on my own too, often being in locations I definitely shouldn't have been in. We had a few good engagements, but in the end we couldn't compete with a fed enemy Varus and Udyr.
